Absolutely delicious miso paste! So versatile and I use for soups, sauces, dressings, you name it. Really creamy and amazing flavor and I’m happy I’m getting good things for my gut in the meantime and great quality! Only downside is it can get really messy with the bag inside the bag. Not at all a big enough downside to not get again- Will buy more when the big bags runs out!!

I have always loved Miso but this is easy practical in versatile plus yummy!

Miso goes well with salad dressing, noodles, veggies, just about anything or by it self in mouthfuls.

I purchased this through Amazon. Having had other varieties in the past of shiro miso, I have to say this is absolutely the best ever to come into my kitchen. This includes not only is superb flavor but its ability to dissolve in soups. It has the least sodium, is the most mild miso I have ever had, but has the essence that is look for in a shiro miso. Having had severe abdominal pain, I started years ago to include miso in my diet, as Dr. Michael Greger points out from epidemiological studies it is good for preventing stomach cancer and other benefits. It makes the most delicious soup I have ever had, to which I add zucchini, broccoli, kale and onion, and a little seaweed.

Wonderful tasting miso, slightly sweet.

This is quality miso. We love it.It's a light miso with the requisite saltiness you'd expect but with a nice sweetness to balance it. I can literally eat this from a spoon, it's so good. I use it in soups, stir fries, dressing, grilling...well, you get the idea!My only complaint is that I wish they would put this in the same packaging Genmai which has a spout making it super easy to dispense. The Shiro is in a bag inside the package, and the inner bag is not resealable making it pretty messy to use.Packaging aside, this is really good stuff, and I highly recommend it.

I wish it had that cool screw top valve that other brands have but this is delicious and it it resealable. Will purchase again.

The product is in a second plastic bag within the colorful resealable outer bag. It's a messy way to do it. Why doesn't Eden package this miso the same way it packages its Genmai miso with the built in spout?
