taste amazing
I absolutely love this whole milk powder! It has a rich, creamy taste that's very close to fresh milk, and it dissolves easily without any clumps. I use it for baking, making milk tea, and even just as a quick glass of milk when I run out of fresh. It’s super convenient and tastes amazing. Definitely a pantry essential—will keep buying!

Tasty great in coffee
Taste great in your coffee I used to use The one called the original coffee creamer, original dry, coffee creamer, but it has Corn syrup solid which are carbohydrates which turns into sugars in your body and I could use powdered milk in my coffee tried Powdermilk from acme and it was OK, but it was fat free. this is whole milk and taste stronger like a cow or a farm yes it reminds me of wholesome goodness it’s stronger flavor than the fat-free but I like it very much in a coffee I had powdered milk from a cardboard box before and the powdered milk took on the flavor of the cardboard box. This is packaged in a plastic jar with a lid, which keeps the flavor and does not tant the flavor., Bottom line good price good flavor good product. I will be putting this on auto once I find out how long this Jar will last my coffee in the morning now is much more enjoyable. I don’t get that weird feeling in my gut later on in the day. from living on coffee all morning. if you’re looking for a dry creamer and you really like your coffee, you owe it to yourself to try this coffee creamer, which is nothing more than dried whole milk. Nothing else nothing else that you don’t need just good wholesome dry milk. oh, OK. This taste that I am tasting is not a farm taste. It’s actually cream taste since I don’t have cream that much. Don’t even remember what cream taste like., I just came back from Walmart and got whole milk powder great value brand , it has the cardboard flavor no good , this brand from Amazon is good great flavor in coffee, tossing out Walmart brand

No difference from store milk
I read a lot of reviews before I chose to try this brand. My reasons to have powdered milk over store milk. I don’t have space to store a quart size container which is the smallest you can get. There is just me and realistically a pint at a time is perfect (2 cups). The 1lb container makes just under two gallons, which sees me through 4 weeks and now is on my subscribe and save. When I read the reviews, I paid attention to how the people who liked the product prepared it. I tried it several ways to give the reviews a fair trial. Warm water method resulted in curdling probable because there is no way to tell what warm is supposed to be. Next I tried both filtered tap water and bottled water at room temperature. The tap water here is safe to drink but it has a funny aftertaste, so I believe any complaints about the taste noted in the reviews is the water, not the product. I tried both a Protein Shaker and Smoothie blender, both methods with room temp water the reviews had good success with. I prefer the shaker, the blender is too aggressive. At this point I tasted and was pleased at the silky texture and the coating on the glass, no different than that poured from a carton. I asked a friend to try this in her fancy coffee machine, and she was confused at first and surprised that it was powdered whole milk and not a new kind of milk I found at the store. It performed perfectly in the frothing process and she is seriously considering changing her milk purchasing. Every cup or two that I made tastes no different that the cup or two before it consistently . This product is real whole milk with the moisture removed, all you do is add good tasting water and it is indistinguishable in; taste, appearance and performance, to milk you buy in the dairy case.It is so much easier storing milk in a sealed container on the shelf and leaving valuable fridge space for other things.

it's great for milk gravy
I gave this four stars, but if I were only trying this for cooking, It would be five stars.I may change my rating after using hoosier farm whole milk powder longer. I may find more uses.this is high quality milk powder. it's great for milk gravy, deserts, (I like it for fry bread)It's not good for reconstituting. it doesn't mix well for drinking, and doesn't mix well in coffee. The jar is plastic, to answer questions about the jar.it came sealed and not damaged. I got the cream powder as well, and I find it has the same qualities and drawbacks as the whole milk powder. It doesn't reconstitute well. you have to really mix it and mix with a hand whisk. both the milk and the cream powder are good for steamed milk, hot milk based drinks, milk based soups, ice cream, clotted cream, as long as you heat it and work to mix it.If you are looking for a drinkable whole milk powder I got a huge can of Nestle Nido whole milk powder for the same price. its about three times the size, but you have to use more powder to water for the right mix compared to the hoosier farm milk powder.the Nestle whole milk powder has a better taste and texture for drinking compared to the hoosier farm milk. it is equally good for cooking. The hoosier farm milk has a strong grass fed smell and flavor. it takes up less space than the other brands of milk powder. and you use less per cup of water, but it takes a lot of work to mix up. the taste for drinking is better than instant nonfat dried milk, but again I found the Nestle whole milk powder better for mixing into drinking milk, and for cereal.for cooking I give the hoosier farms whole milk powder five stars, for drinking and cereal, 3 stars.I plan on trying other products from hoosier farms in the future.

Especially Great for Baking Recipes Requiring Powdered Milk
I bought this powder (rather than the grocery store powdered milk) because I needed it for a recipe for a sweetened, buttery baked corn flake filling for cupcakes. After mixing the corn flakes with the butter, sugar and whole milk powder, I baked and crushed them for the cupcakes. The flavor that this milk powder added was amazing!Whether you will be using it for mixing whole milk or in baking recipes, this milk powder is outstanding. It has a great flavor and dissolves easily. It adds so much richness because it IS whole milk. It's a great value for the money.
