Use them for a make shift stand
These stand offs are great for a make shift stand (see photo) as well as connecting boards together neatly and safely. I am using them for my RP 7" screen.

Useless with Raspberry Pi HATs
The box contains multiple spacers, none of which are the right size for a basic Pi HAT, such as a Pimoroni Unicorn HAT: the 5+5 (5 mm + 5 mm screw) spacer is smaller than a HAT's header and the 11+6 (11 mm spacer with 6 mm screw) is too big, preventing the HAT's header from properly connecting to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO headers. If you compare with the size's of spacers sold by others (which is should have done before buying this), you'll see that there should be a 7 mm spacer, to fit between a Raspberry Pi and a HAT.These may be useful if you have extra long headers on your HAT boards, or if you really need to raise a board high above your Rpi, using the 20 mm spacers, and as feet to raise or rest a Pi, but for actual spacing, pretty rubbish.
