Must have
Not gonna lie, when I first got this I barely touched it, I didn't really understand how to use it and my elvie stride was super convenient for walking around the house to pump. Then I got a really bad clogged duct that I was struggling to clear and pulled this thing back out to try. It worked better at clearing the duct than anything else including my baby lol, with this I could hold the suction longer to keep drawing out the milk(and clog) and then pump a couple times again and hold until the milk stopped coming or suction decreased, then pump a few times again etc. It's also nice when you need to get some out quick, or to pump on the opposite side of baby when you let down on the other side. No worrying about tubes and buttons and things you can start and stop just as quick if you need to do something. I use it like a haakaa but the handle and stable base are a lot more user friendly and it's super easy to operate one-handed. It's easy to clean and reassemble but it has a good number of parts. I really like the lansinoh bottles too, they're way more breast shaped than any other I've ever seen and they don't leak, very ergonomic shape to them, my baby loves them. Another thing I love about the pump is the larger flanges, my nipples stretch a ton when feeding and these are so much larger than the tiny ones that come on medela and other brands. I didnt know I needed larger flanges until using this and they are soo much more comfortable. The handle is ergonomic too, your less likely to drop it the way its shaped. The 2 modes took a minute to adjust to operating but once you figure it out it's super easy. It seems very sturdy to me but if it broke I'd happily buy a new one and not think twice. I think every breastfeeding or pumping mom needs this, like I said for clogged milk ducts this was a lifesaver. I've had 5 different expensive pumps and this one I'd say is the most essential, it's great that it's so affordable too!

A Must Buy
This hand pump is fantastic! It’s easy to use and does a great job at expressing milk efficiently. I love that you can throw it in the diaper bag and use it on the go and throw a cap on the bottle once you a finished. It’s also easy to use while breast feeding on other breast, the handle is shaped were you can use it with one hand!My one complaint is that the handle was incredibly squeaky when I first washed it and started using it. I did some searching and all you need to do is take the purple handle off and put some petroleum jelly (I used aquaphor from the diaper caddy) on the part that attaches the pump to the handle. Worked like a charm and hasn’t squeaked since.

Love! Powerful and convenient
Love! I have used the Medela manual pump with my other kids but loved the idea of pumping and feeding from the same bottle. Very pleasantly surprised that this pump works better than medela for me and I can just attach the bipple and feed from the same bottle. The nipples are similar to pigeon which our baby is used to, so it has been easy to transition her to use lansinoh bottles and nipples and if you’ve done any research would know that lansinoh, pigeon and evenflo balance are the most recommended nipples for breastfed babies! Love this pump, empties me really quick too. Comes with flange sizes 25 and 30, 25 is a perfect fit for me, the standard 24 always hurts me

Suctioned Bottom is nice feature, other brands are better though
I have this one as well as the older generation NatureBond one. In comparison, I prefer the NatureBond, however this one has some very nice upgrades that are worth mentioning. If you've never used a haakaa, they are miracle milk collectors that any leaky, breastfeeding mom should have (hence the still decent review despite the cons listed). I used these with both my babies and never had to use the awful hand or electric pump. I would also suggest buying a second haakaa if you like it and leak in between feedings or hate pumping as much as I did.Pros:- HANDS FREE! I cannot stress this enough to anyone that has never used one and is still stuck in a tiny, windowless room trying to pump. Pop it on, forget about it, get some stuff done. Put it on the other side while breastfeeding and double your freezer stash.- The lanyard is actually quite nice. I didn't think I'd really use it, but it's a great hands-free option when you're trying to collect your things (and baby!) and move to a different room. It's also saved me once or twice when the suction came loose and it fell off. I still lost some milk in the fall, but the whole thing didn't dump out since it only fell about 2in. Note: the newer NatureBond model has this upgrade as well.- the suction cup bottom is an amazing addition! I wish all of the haakaa brands would add this feature. Even if its not suctioned well (see "cons") the base is still wider than other brands and less likely to spill. Pro tip: You can suction the bottom to the included lid for a wider base if you're using it on a soft surface (couch, bed, etc) and can't suction it to anything.Cons:- the aforementioned suction bottom doesn't stick forever. I've still dumped it a few times thinking it was suctioned onto a hard surface, only to find the bottom had popped off in a manner of minutes.- the milk suction power is too strong. It's actually quite painful in comparison to the NatureBond brand that I have. There's a very small suction power window in between "this will pop of in a few seconds when you least expect it" and "I feel like I put my boobs in a vacuum sealer".- I don't really understand the lid feature on any of the haakaa brands... this one doesn't even fit that well and still leaks. The other brands at least come with a silicone stopper that works much, much better. Therefore, your only protection from accidently dumping your haakaa is the suction bottom that has a tendency to pop off spontaneously from certain surfaces.TL,DR: The NatureBond brand is better, but the suctioned bottom is a nice feature.

Best hand pump
Better than Medela. Only pump I use so I have 2 of them. Love it and it's simplicity. Vales are easy to purchase from third parties and other flange options are available for purchaseGreat bottle as well but I went with Gulicola because it was glass and had the slowest flowing nipple.
