This product is the best! It has a nice stereo sound big base speaker sub woofer. And I love the teal color. Great purchase.

had the first one two weeks quit working replaced with a new one same thing quits working completely within two weeks don't buy

Purchased this for my grandfather for Father’s Day and he loves it. The sound is amazing, the lights blink with the beat of the song. Well worth the money.

I bought this one for the looks first, the modern take on the 80s boombox. Also, going through the reviews of an oder model, got a feeling this one should be a good pick as it added the subwoofer. Indeed, when I turn it on the first time with a CD in, I was impressed by the bass. Not at lower volume though, there is no noticeable compensation for volume being down, you just lose most of the bass. A couple of things I didn't like was the inability to disengage the mood lights but leave the radio tuning backlight on, and lack of a remote control. The lights get annoying very quickly, but just having the tuning backlight on would have been cool. I need a boombox for exercise room, and sometimes I want to skip to the next track without having to walk to the unit. Another note about the sound, you really need to be facing the unit , with your ears at about the same level as the speakers, to get the best rendition of what the unit can do. The moment you move a bit to the side, the difference is very noticeable. Often bluetooth speakers have some type of feature that lets you experience the sound similarly even if you move around in the room, not here. The thing that did it to me however was that after a couple of days, the sound suddenly became horribly distorted regardless of volume. I never used the speakers at high volume to start with, so it's not like I could have blown the speakers. I am sending the boombox back and won't ask for replacement as I am not sure if I just got a lemon or the QA is just not there. They deserve credit for trying, but for the price (I paid $200 for it) I expected better quality in a competitive environment where you can by a Sony or Philips unit for under $100.

The media could not be loaded.  I was getting ready to send this back because of the light show and not being able to turn it off but I looked in the instruction booklet there is a way to turn it off another reviewer said that was annoying as well to them and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Might be okay if it was a little slower and different colors not liking the same color blinking. Also not crazy about the unit being all plastic for $169. including the knobs not sure how that will wear over time. Sound is good love that it's portable I like the black with the rose gold will be nice when the weather is good on the patio with my black and white furniture USB, CD, FM radio all good.“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. The boombox itself is beautiful. When using all features EXCEPT CD, sound is great. However, after using the CD function for a few hours (2hrs tops), the sound begins to distort and fade out. I have seen this is other reviews on amazon and QVC for this specific product. I called Studebaker to see if this was something they have gotten complimentary about and they said no. Amazon quickly issued a replacement. Going to give it one more shot with a new one. Fingers crossed…
