I got this to put on the side of my bed that my little dog has. I try to keep throws on my bed that easy to pick up and wash and this does well. I do dry on medium heat. And it’s soft too.

I have two PetAmi blankets that cover two of the beds in our house. We use them as a top layer on the bed and if there are any accidents, only that one layer needs washing. I don't know why this size is not consistently available. The PetAmi blankets are real fabric with real sewing - not the 'non woven' or 'heat stitched' type that melts in the dryer. These can be washed and dried nicely. They are heavier than a regular blanket because of the internal layers and waterproofing. I have had no trouble with leaks or anything. In addition to having them on two beds, we have smaller PetAmi blankets as a sofa throw, and as the thick fleece 'carpet' in our indoor dog kennel to protect our hardwood floors. I love these blankets (obviously!)

This largest size blanket is thinner and lighter than the other sizes, and is great for the warmer weather. The description should include this fact for those expecting the warmer blanket. I can't comment on the durability yet as I just got it, but the pale gray color is lovely.

I bought this blanket for my bed because my dog has a leaky bladder sometimes. This blanket captures the leaks. The leaks don't soak in or go through onto the bedding underneath. Since this blanket is meant to soak up liquid, when it is washed, it really holds onto water. I've been line drying it, even with an extra spin, it is still quite wet. I loved this blanket so much, I bought an extra one.

We have a 12 week old puppy and accidents happen. I got one for my new couch and if the puppy pees it does not sink through onto the couch fabric like it did with other blankets. Bought one for my bed spread too. You can’t beat the price either.

Finally a throw that actually looks good on my sofa! I purchased a color which closely matches my sofa and I am pleased with the durability and softness feel as described. It is light weight so it doesn’t look bulky yet serves it’s purpose to protect my furniture from pups and grandchildren! 😉Side note: my pups don’t chew the throw so not sure of chew proof to comment.

yes, its waterproof, but its also a really nice, well made blanke t with a high quality feel. Thick, heavy not 'waterproof" feeling at all, the fleece is as close to the real thing as you could hope for, and the reverse is a delicious suede like material. Recommended without reservation, a truly nice blanket that happens to be both dog friendly and waterproof.
