Do the trick
I’ve been using a similar product for several years now in outdoor flood lights. Was a little concerned this wouldn’t work well when I first saw it but in fact it works better than the brand I was getting from Lowe’s.

Poor quality, rusted and broke!
Bought these in September, installed in glass pilasters (glass enclosed). Worked fine until recently. When checked, the inside had rusted out (!) - shouldn’t be like that given their function. Waste of money.

Do what right supposed to do.
Turns on the light off In morning and turn on.in the night.
