A year ago I purchased one of these to try out, then added three immediately. I liked them very much and added another four this week I recommend replacing the halogen lamps with LEDs because of the power savings. I am using MR11 LEDs that are rated at 240 lumens expending 3W. This is bright enough to light my path and steps. Many different ones are available in different colors of light so it is easy to satisfy different needs. My low voltage transformer is rated at 200W because I originally was thinking I would be running a few halogen lamps. This definitely does not work with the 50W halogen lamps supplied when you use as many as I have connected. It is sufficient to run the eight fixtures with 3W bulbs that I have now, and I can add more fixtures if I need to.I like the idea of using fixtures that have replaceable bulbs. Some competitive fixtures come with installed bulbs that may difficult to replace if they fail. The Malibu fixtures are quite well made and should last a significant time. With easily replaceable standard bulbs, the lighting has been very low maintenance and should continue to be for the foreseeable future.

The light is bright and the casing is made for outdoor use. It took me literally 5 minutes to install and attach to my existing lighting system.Good price too!

I’ve had a few of these. Decent construction for today’s standards. Works as advertised. The interior socket starts to degrade after a couple years but they’re cheap enough to replace. Paint is decent and lasts longer than the guts. Stands up to the elements very well too. Comparable price to the home centers so it’s worth buying it here.I’d recommend it

I prefer having the choice of which bulb to install into a fixture. I use 50 Watt MR16 LED bulbs. Note, after installing a bulb, add a bit of Anti-Sieze on the lens cover housing…just a bit. Aluminum Oxidation will make it difficult to open it up in the future.

The original version had the reflector screwed on with two screws and the bulb plugged in and supported only itself. This version has a different bulb, one that has the reflector incorporated into the bulb, and the bulb assembly moves which can cause the bulb to no longer light. Additionally both versions (including this version) use the obsolete clamp-on method to get 12V power, which is where ALL of my lamp issues have been. I trashed these within a few months, bought Low-Voltage Replacement Cable Connectors (sold on Amazon), and now the original lamps work great.

This spotlight is awesome to light up my flag pole at night. It was so easy to install. I tried several of the solar spotlights, but the light on them only lasts a few hours. It's important for me to display the U.S. flag with respect - so it needs to have a light shining on it when it's dark. Besides - the light makes the house look "cozy".
