I ordered this for my wife, who wants to give it a try on her legs, but before handing it over I decided to give it a whirl on the odd few hairs that sprout on my upper arms towards the shoulder. Having never tried anything like this before I was a little hesitant, but it turns out I needn’t have worried. It went without a hitch.My first impressions of the let’me epilator were excellent. It comes in very attractive packaging, with a decorative sleeve covering a case with a magnetic flip top. The packaging is nice enough that if you were to present this as a gift you’d get the “oooh, aaahhh” response you’d be hoping for. In short, it looks expensive and desirable. Everything inside is well packaged, and as you remove the wrapper from the light gun you’ll see that it feels very well put together. It’s not at all flimsy, and has a comforting heft.It took me a little while after plugging the device into an outlet to figure out that this thing doesn’t run on batteries. I guess I should have read the instructions first, but I left it plugged in for an hour under the impression that it needed to be charged. Nope. It runs off mains power and needs to be plugged in throughout operation. No problem at all, as the power cable is long enough that you won’t feel uncomfortably bound to an outlet.The instructions are fairly clear and easy to understand, and after a few minutes of reading I felt ready to give the device a try. I set the power level at 4 (recommended for my pale skin by the manual), donned the included protective glasses, held the gun against my upper arm and gave the trigger a hesitant squeeze, followed by several more as I attempted to cover all of my upper arm.The manual advised me to shave the area before use, but I forgot until I’d finished one arm and noticed that the hairs I’m trying to get rid of were curled in on themselves as if I’d held a match to them. I know I didn’t do it right, but I have to say it was nice to see an immediate response to reassure me that this isn’t just some gimmick. I’d clearly traumatised the hairs, which is exactly what I’m hoping for.At level 4, triggering the device at intervals of a few seconds, by the fifth squeeze of the trigger I felt some heat against my skin, but no pain. I slowed down, though, allowing the internal fan to cool the light emitter before proceeding.Does this work as advertised? As yet I’ve no idea. This ain’t exactly in my wheelhouse, but the device feels so well made that I’m confident it’s doing what it says on the tin. I’ll report back after the recommended course of treatment to let you know if my hair growth has slowed or stopped. So far, though, I’m very happy with this thing. I’m sure my wife will be very impressed when I hand it over.

I'm not convinced it's permanent either. I Used it 5 days in a row for arm pit hair a couple weeks ago. After the 5th day the hair was finally gone. A week later the hairs started to grow out again.The laser comes with excellent instruction & is packaged professionally so that is a plus. You will need sun glasses because the light flashes are very bright. The laser can get very warm too. Not burning hot but I would be careful if children are around. You must plug this into a wall socket too. It's not battery operated. Overall this does what it claims to but it's not the magic it pretends to be either. IMO, it's more trouble than it's worth. I would rather use a razor. Just me , though. 4 stars

Before the laser hair removal, I used grainer which need use daily as the hair grow quickly. Then I decided to buy a laser hair removal. I know it need take a while to evaluate it. It is not instantaneous! So I made a little experiment.It didn't hurt at all. It had a slight burn smell which is normal for permanent hair removal process. It also have ice compression while you zap your hair away. It has five different settings to choose from ranging from 1 to 5. Make sure you know which setting to start off with before you begin. And the glasses are working, not that much dark, so you can see around.After the week that I used it, I feel like it clearly reduce the time of my hair growing. I hope that I can become more beautiful in the summer. Don't worry about the hair anymore. I can put on a beautiful skirt this summer. With patience, you can get the result you want. I highly recommend this device!

The thing does work, and it flashes light and counts down with every flash. I disliked how unresponsive the buttons were, and the cooling function didn't work. When you press the buttons, sometimes they work, sometimes they wouldn't and sometimes you just touch them by accident and they switch to another setting without you realizing it. Then the trigger does the same thing. Sometimes it turns into individual flashes mode when you touch the trigger the wrong way, and sometimes it goes into automatic without you realizing it.Also, I was never able to turn on the cooling action. The device gets hot, but at least not burning hot. The button does not do anything at all and nothing changes. Since cooling was their main selling point...I tried to find if it really is FDA approved, but I couldn't find the company on the list.

It doesnt turn on. I had to wait to open and use it because I had just recently waxed when I ordered it. It was a few weeks because I had to wait for hair to grow out.Opened packaging plugged it in according to directions and it doesn't turn on.Now that I waited :/ for all my hair to grow back. /:I contacted the seller 72 hours ago and they didn't respond. Its outside of return window so not sure how this will play out.
